Do you have an important date or event coming up where you want to look your best?
Then don't forget to schedule your beauty appointments in plenty of time.
Not sure when to make your appointments -well, here's the low down.
FACIALS One week before so your skin looks great – this allows you time for recovery from any post facial breakouts.
WAXING One week before – especially if waxing facial hair. You want to allow time for any redness or tiny bumps to subside.
BOTOX Two weeks ahead of time – it takes that long to see real results and there can be mild bruising where injected, it will need time to heal.
GLYCOLIC PEELS One week to five days ahead of event – While redness usually last only a day or so, if there’s any complications your skin will have enough time to heal. Also, you need to stay out of the sun after a prescription-strength peel. Home peels with a lower concentration of acid can be done two days ahead of the day for the best results.
MICRODERMABRASION Have your first session three months ahead of the date. There’s no down time, but you’ll need several sessions before you start to see real results. Dermatologists recommend a minimum of four to six treatments spaced two weeks apart. Or if you’re just going to splurge once, go a day or two before the event.
BODY WRAP – TO LOSE INCHES For maximum results you should do two wraps – giving yourself a couple of days in between wraps. Schedule the second wrap at least one or two days before the big day for best results.
MANICURE AND PEDICURE The day before or the day of your event so, it’s still fresh.
